Kaspersky is known for its antivirus software and this suite incorporates everything a good antivirus program should have. You can easily scan your entire PC or select specific areas like My Documents, Mailboxes, local disk or CD Drive.

The antispyware feature is just as effective. On the antispyware page, you can view the status of all the functions. You can see that the anti?phishing, popup blocker, anti?banner and anti?dialer are running. You can also see the statistics of phishing sites detected, popups blocked, banners blocked and dialers blocked.

Kaspersky offers some other security features including a window so you can preview your email messages before they enter your inbox.

Kaspersky will guide you through creating a rescue disk in case a virus destroys your computer system.

We found the Kaspersky interface slightly harder to navigate than the other programs. You can access and customize all of the features from the main user interface. The software loads with default settings, but you can adjust pretty much everything to your preferences
